The hot‑rolled plate 12‑2000 eight‑high rough leveler is a heavy‑duty straightening machine designed for rough leveling of 12mm‑thick, 2000mm‑wide hot‑rolled steel plates. It serves as the first‑stage flattening unit in Cut To Length Line, Coil Cutting Machine and coil slitting line processing thick hot‑rolled coils, removing heavy residual stress and gross distortion before fine leveling or Longitudinal Shear. The eight‑high roll configuration (four upper + four lower work rolls with backup support) delivers high bending force for thick plates while maintaining roll rigidity. Rubber Sleeve on conveyor rollers protects scale‑covered plate surfaces during transfer. After rough leveling, plates proceed to slitting knife blade stations for Longitudinal Shear or to fine Levelers for precision flattening. Hydraulic automatic gauge control adjusts roll gap dynamically based on material thickness. The machine communicates with cut to length line and coil Slitting Line PLC for synchronized production. Suitable for heavy steel service centers, shipyards and bridge fabricators. Standard capacity: thickness up to 12mm, width up to 2000mm; heavier gauges available on request. Work rolls are made of forged alloy steel with deep hardening. Every unit undergoes full load testing with thick hot‑rolled plate samples. We offer global commissioning and operator training. Spare slitting knife blade and Rubber Sleeve are available for maintenance. Integrated with Coil Cutting Machine and Longitudinal Shear, this rough straightening machine prepares thick hot‑rolled plates for downstream precision processing. Its robust eight‑high design ensures efficient stress relief on heavy‑gauge material that standard levelers cannot handle.
